In this project, new types of conductive hydrogels will be prepared by incorporating magnetic fluids into a hydroxypropyl cellulose/poly(vinyl alcohol)/glycerol polymeric matrix. The specific objectives of the project are:

Objective 1. Synthesis and characterization of the functionalized biopolymers.

Objective 2. Preparation of magnetic hydrogels.

Objective3. Hydrogels characterization.

Objective 4. Management and disemmination of the project activities.
