OH–FILM is primarily about developing and validating new approaches, generating new, basic and applied, transferable knowledge, and pushing further young scientists in fresh research topics, with medium- and long-term development options.
OH–FILM is guided by a set of specific objectives (O), achievable by original results:
O1 Synthesis of complex building blocks (precursors, intermediates, monomers)
O2 Achievement of transparent, hydrophilic, flexible, thermally stable, insulative polymers
O3 Establishing structure-properties correlations
O4 Overview of proper stand features and proof of concept
O5 Testing the best materials as experimental models of organic stands for flexible electronics
O6 Optimization of polymeric materials
O7 Dissemination of project results.
Five types of studies will be realized to fulfil the objectives:
1 organic and polymer synthesis, structure confirmation and optimziation
2 in-depth characterization focused on the fourfold functionality
3 surface physico-chemical modification
4 in-depth structure-properties correlations
5 development, assessment and validation of an experimental model. |
