The main objective of this project is to obtain new composite materials based on cross-linked insulated and conjugated polyrotaxanes, to generate new smart functional materials with controlled mechanical properties, which opens the gates to unprecedented applications in many fields of science.
O1. The synthesis of the inclusion complexes (ICs) of conjugated monomers and hydropyl- cyclodextrins.

O2. The synthesis of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), poly(pyrrole) (PPy) conjugated polyrotaxanes, and of the poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) insulated polyrotaxanes encapsulated into the hydroxypropyl-cyclodextrins.

O3. Design, synthesis and characterization of new SRMs containing insulated and conjugated PRs
