1. The synthesis of at least three chitooligosaccharides, characterized by different polymerization degrees and hydrophilicity, by chitosan’s nitrous depolymerization up to month 6.
2. The obtaining of three series of hydrogels based on previously synthesized chitooligosaccharides and 2-formylphenylboronic acid, with different crosslinking degrees and biodegradability, up to month 12.
3. The obtaining of drug delivery systems for the co-delivery of antifungal and antiviral agents, up to month 20.
4. Project results dissemination: (i) at least 2 papers published/ sent to publication in specialized journals, with a cumulated impact factor >5; (ii) 3 presentations in international/national conferences.
