The general objectives of the project are:
- Obtaining of a library of hydrogels by crosslinking collagen/chitosan with bioactive natural aldehydes
- Investigation of the general physico-chemical and specific properties of the hydrogels
- In vivo investigation of the most promising hydrogel candidate for wound healing
- Up-scaling the obtaining of the candidate hydrogel
