- New ionic or non-ionic polymers, linear or cross-linked, with variable amphiphilicity, with intrinsic biological activity (antimicrobial, hypolypemic) and high selectivity in adsorption of drugs, bile acids, phosphates or lipids.
- Multi-component, multi-functional and stimuli sensitive polymeric systems based on hydrogels or hybrid materials polymer/natural compounds (clays, proteins, phytotherapeutic agents) for bio-applications.
- Cationic polyelectrolytes used for inorganic or organic (pesticides, dyes) pollutants from waste or surface waters.
- Thermodynamics of (bio)polymers for advanced materials;self-assembling and phase separation phenomena in multicomponent systems.
