About Objectives Results Dissemination Team Contact

Objective 1:  Synthesis and characterization of PEs based on polysaccharides with different chain flexibility (pullulan (Pull), chitosan (Chit), cellulose (Cell), dextran (Dex)) in soluble form or as hydrogel, able to interact with a great variety of particles.

Objective 2: Study of the dynamic properties of the obtained PEs in aqueous solution in order to establish correlations between their physico-chemical properties and the polysaccharide type, the ionic groups content, size of hydrophobic substituent, the ionic strength, dielectric constant of the solvent and the concentration regimes.

Objective 3. The study of aggregation/adsorption of particles (inorganic and organic type) by/on PEs in both aqueous and aqueous/nonaqueous media.
