The key Specific Research Objectives (SROs) of CMT-DN are to:
SRO1: Fabricate and characterise brain-compatible TMs (WP1);
SRO2: Create vascularised brain-on-chip systems (VRAINORG) as healthy & CVP models (WP2);
SRO3: Elucidate disease mechanisms through the action of TMs on VRAINORG platforms (WP3).
Specific Training and Career Development Objectives (TOs) have also been identified (WP5):
TO1: To train 14 DRs in interdisciplinary research processes
TO2: To establish a collaborative, intersectoral, interdisciplinary and international network
TO3: To create an academic-industry nurturing environment, where DRs are fully trained in the management of
Intellectual Property (IP) and appropriate protection measures
TO4: To develop DRs with advanced skills in communication and public engagement for maximum outreach
TO5: To develop DRs with advanced skills in dissemination and open science for maximum research impact.
TO6: To develop future leaders in TM research with the vital skills and knowledge for enhanced employability |
