[2.2]Paracyclophane linkers for Metal-Organic Frameworks

The successful implementation of this project has lead to a number of new [2.2]paracyclophane carboxylic linkers, which were used in the synthesis of new Metal-Organic Frameworks - porous crystallin materials made up of organic linkers and metal nodes. Several new MOF structures were obtained and characterized and their gas-storage capabilities were assessed. The results obtained within this project were the subject of three papers and one poster, presented at a national symposium. A fourth paper is currently underway and is estimated to be published by the end of 2022.
