Dr. Andrei HONCIUC, project director |
Directions of research:
- Synthesis of multifunctional nanoparticles, such as amphiphilic and semiconducting Janus nanoparticles
- Synthesis of novel polyrotaxane architectures and supramolecular assemblies using π-conjugated or insulated polymers for optoelectronics
- Synthesis and application of multifunctional semiconducting polymers with amphiphilic properties toward optoelectronics
- Nanostructured materials from polymerization of Pickering emulsions
- Developing of new methods for determining the surface energy and its components of micro and nanoparticles in relationships with their collective behavior in powders
- Design of novel amphiphilic structures and synthesis of new high-performance surfactants and surfactant formulations
- Measurement of the electrical properties for a whole range of materials such as polymer blends, thin films, powders, semiconducting nanoparticles, etc.
