     It is our pleasure to invite you to the Conference on Extracellular Vesicles Studies for Disease Diagnosis - Insights on EVs and Polymeric Materials for Emerging Applications - (EvPolyMat) which will be held at “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Iași, in October 1-2, 2026.

This conference aims to combine the experience gained from the EU research project on volatile organic compounds emitted by extracellular vesicles (Ev) as an innovative approach for disease diagnosis, with the expertise of “Petru Poni” Institute on polymeric (Poly) materials (Mat) for biomedical applications.

The event will foster discussion on cutting-edge technologies, experimental approaches, and translational potential in this rapidly evolving field. We also intend to offer a possibility for researchers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary experts to explore emerging advances in the study of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and their applications in disease diagnosis, pushing forward and shaping the future of EVs in medical science in Romania and abroad.

Ultimately, the conference seeks to advance understanding of extracellular vesicles and promote the development of innovative, minimally invasive diagnostics tools that may improve early detection and disease management.
