Obiective
- dezvoltarea unor noi structuri macromoleculare capabile de a se auto-organiza in structuri supramoleculare mai elaborate ce pot functiona ca biomateriale
- intelegerea fundamentala a functiilor structurilor complexe biocompatibile
- controlul organizarii in micro- si nanostructuri in solutie si la interfata
- auto-organizarea moleculara si formarea de faze lichid cristaline
- interactiunea cu sistemele vii
Realizari
- sinteza de noi structuri polimere auto-organizate bioactive
- obtinerea de noi materiale compozite bioactive «soft» pe baza conceptului de auto-organizare
- studiul structural, compozitional si morfologic al materialelor obtinute si masura in care se realizeaza controlul nano- si microstructurarii
- strudiul auto-organizarii in solutie si la interfata
- studiul modularii tensiunii si energiei de suprafata si relatia cu biocompatibilitatea
