New "green" technology for advanced water treatment based on functionalized polysulfones/ionic liquids membranes
The GreenTechMembr project addresses one of the major problems facing the society in terms of the water pollution and aims to develop a new "green" water treatment technology capable of overcoming the disadvantages of the conventional technologies and offering many advantages (minimum energy consumption, high selectivity, technical feasibility, and low volume of waste), thus representing a "green" alternative system, compact and economical.
